Partnership Covenant

CONVICTIONS

Aligning with Parkway’s beliefs that all men are sinful, and that the just sentence of that sin is eternal separation from God (Romans 3:23; 6:23), and that Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin (Romans 5:8), and having personally received Jesus Christ as my Savior (John 1:12)…

COMMITMENTS

…and having reviewed the components of partnership, and being committed to the doctrines, purpose, and structure of Parkway Bible Church, I commit myself to God and to other partners of the church to live out the following:

I will participate in and be the church by:
  • Acting in love toward others (1 Peter 1:22)
  • Following the leadership of the church (Hebrews 13:17) and submitting to the biblical principle of church restoration in conflict (Matthew 18:15–20)
  • Participating in financial support of God’s ministry with my local church body (2 Corinthians 9:6–7)
  • Welcoming others into the community of the church with hospitality (Romans 15:7)
I will commit to my ongoing spiritual growth by taking personal next steps including:
  • MERGING: Attending regular weekly worship & connecting with God through His Word (Hebrews 10:24-25)
  • MATURING: Participating in authentic community in life-giving relationships and Pkwy Life Groups for others’ good and my growth (Colossians 3:12-17)
  • MOBILIZING: Using my God-given gifts to serve others at the church and in the community (1 Peter 4:10)
  • MULTIPLYING: Following the Lord’s leading in multiplying discipleship and gospel witness with those He has placed around me (Matthew 28:18-20)
