Weekly Update

Hello there, LG Leaders! Here’s some important items before we see each other this weekend:

1. Our next Connect meeting is coming up THIS Sunday, October 25th, so come join us and we will see you there at 11:00 in Bldg. B!

2. Parkway is looking to hire more KidZone childcare workers, and we’re especially looking for adults. These are paid workers supporting groups, studies, and special events. Hours are minimal (2-10 per week), typical shifts are 2-3 hrs at Parkway, often on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, plus Thursday morning. It’s not the same as Sunday morning Pkwy Kids Ministry, so these workers have a simple application process. Applications can be picked up at the front desk of the church office. Would you share this with anyone in your group that might be look for some part-time employment?

3. Here’s the next LG Discussion Guide for official fall study, the “Rooted in Christ” series on Colossians. We will be in the book through the week of Nov. 15. You can always access it through the message notes in the app or on the media page of the website. And here it is in PDF form: https://parkway.church/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Week-5-Discussion-Guide.pdf

Thank you for all your leadership!

Scott DeSanders // Pastor of Discipleship
