At the Parkway Counseling Center, we know life is difficult. For some, the journey is straight, well lit, and unencumbered. For others, it is a rocky path – dark and challenging. We understand that everyone endures many challenges and hardships. We offer compassionate support as you navigate these challenges.

 

Our counselors are trained to address various issues including stress, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, substance abuse, anger management, sexual addiction, marriage & relational issues, military life, and much more. Our professional counselors serve clients with a variety of needs in the greater Austin area, including adults, children and families, regardless of religious affiliation or orientation. Our counselors are able to work with stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance abuse, anger management, sexual addiction, marriage, relational issues, and more.

The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) investigates and prosecutes professional misconduct committed by marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, psychologists, psychological associates, social workers, and licensed specialists in school psychology.

Although not every complaint against or dispute with a licensee involves professional misconduct, the Executive Council will provide you with information about how to file a complaint.

Texas House Bill 4224 requires this information, and this counseling center provides the following instructions for consumers:
