As we follow Jesus, we look beyond ourselves to serve those all around us. We partner with organizations throughout Pflugerville and Greater Austin to support our community.
Education Connection
88% of students who failed to earn a high school diploma were struggling readers in third grade. Education Connection is raising up volunteers to help combat this alarming statistic. We are partnering with Education Connection at Wieland Elementary to increase reading literacy rates right here in Pflugerville. Commit to read with a 2nd grader for 30 minutes a week.
Serving the Needy
As the body of Christ, we want to do whatever we can to aid and support you.

Please be aware that we are not a food pantry and cannot provide any tangible resources immediately.
An appointment with volunteers on our Benevolence Team will be set up with you within a couple days of your visit.

There is a food pantry at Circle of Hope Community Center which is open 10am-12pm on Mondays & Fridays.
They are located at 2900 West Pecan Street in Pflugerville.
This ministry seeks to serve and support single moms and widows in our community. They assist with basic car and home repairs. Contact our Arise director, Courtney Simón, for more information.
Serving the Fatherless
71% of High School dropouts in the United States come from fatherless homes. Jesus called the children to come to him and we want to support strong foundations in the children with whom we have influence.
Between our fall event, Serve Your Schools, and constantly praying for our teachers & students, there are many ways we partner with and serve our local public school district. The main way you can serve the schools is by reading with an elementary student for 30 minutes, once a week. The fatherless in our community thrive on an adult providing for them some one-on-one time. The task is small but the reward is huge. Parkway Bible Church has received “Community Partner of the Year” awards from Wieland and Windermere Elementary Schools for the last ten consecutive years.
Providing resources for unplanned pregnancies and to help moms prepare for a child is the heartbeat of this Christian based center. We partner with them to provide assistance, prayer, and other needs as they come up. Head to the Radiance Women’s Center‘s website for more information.

Serving the Elderly
Each month our volunteers assist the residents in playing BINGO and spend some time talking and listening with them. We provide five holiday parties each year as well.

Serving the Immigrant
English Language Ambassadors (ELA) teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to refugee women who have recently moved to Austin.
We have ESL classes here on Tuesday and Thursday nights for beginners all the way to level 4. We follow the PfISD School calendar. Contact our coordinator, Rafael, for more information at (512)-373-5375.
Serving the Hurting
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a recovery program aimed at all “hurts, habits, and hang-ups” including but not exclusive to: anger, anxiety, co-dependency, eating disorders, compulsive behaviors, PTSD, mental health, sex addiction, financial dysfunction, and drugs and alcohol.
